What makes a space truly feel like home? Beyond its walls and structure, it’s the sense of calm, warmth, and belonging—a place to slow down, shaped by light, materials, and thoughtful design. It’s where memories are made, where we inhabit architecture as much as it inhabits us.

Born in Madrid and shaped by the energy of New York, my approach to architecture is deeply influenced by both cultures. From Spain, I learned the importance of place and materiality; from New York, I embraced its pragmatism and constant reinvention. I believe architecture and life are intrinsically connected—how we design our spaces profoundly shapes how we live.

I earned my Master of Architecture from Harvard University in 2001 after graduating with honors from the Escuela Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid. Over the years, my work has taken me across the world, spanning cultural, residential, and commercial projects in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Yet, I have always been drawn to custom homes—their scale, the personal connection with clients, and the opportunity to craft spaces that enrich daily life make residential design uniquely meaningful to me.

Before founding my practice in 2015, I worked as a design architect in London, Madrid, and New York with internationally recognized firms, including Rafael Moneo, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, and Tsao & McKown.

Alongside my practice, I am deeply committed to architectural education. I have taught at institutions such as Harvard University, Pratt Institute, CCNY, NYIT, and the Boston Architectural College and have served as a guest critic at NYIT, Pratt Institute, Harvard University, BAC, ETSAM, UPenn and other leading institutions.

I am a registered architect in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Madrid (Spain) and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid (COAM).
